Stock Routes are vital:
• For the movement of stock as fuel prices rise
• As wildlife corridors connecting national parks, other protected areas and reserves
• To protect Aboriginal values
• As corridors to allow wild life movement due to habitat change brought on by climate changes
• To maintain Queensland’s heritage of droving in the long paddock
Their values and management must be enshrined in legislation.
